    Back by popular demand:

    Mark Greenawalt (IES Phoenix Past President) will take us on a nighttime walking tour in Downtown Phoenix with educational nighttime photography tips, hints and tricks along the way.
    Areas of photography focus on the tour will include the Civic Space Park net “Her Secret is Patience”, Westward Ho, The Stewart (with possilbe rooftop access), Found:RE, and time permitting a couple other nearby locations. Cell Phone Cameras and DSLR cameras are both equally great for the photography tips.

    Following the photography tour, we will return to The Churchill where the first round will be on the IES Phoenix Section. There is no charge to attend the walking education tour.

    Mark will discuss important tips and hints such as ideal time for nighttime photography, photo setup and framing as well as proper exposure and the use of simple vs. complex cameras.

    Mark is an Electrical Engineer and also an accomplished lighting designer. Mark has a passion for manipulating light to create moods and environments and then capturing the scenes through the art of architectural photography. Mark’s photography has been published in national magazines, manufacturer marketing materials, and for numerous winning lighting design awards for his own projects and for other designers. Mark has submitted IES award winning photographs for lighting installations such as: Marina Heights, Mountain Shadows, The Grand at Papago Park, Randall McDanial Sports Complex, Phoenix School of Law and many others.
