    Back by popular demand:

    Mark Greenawalt (IES Phoenix Past President) will discuss LP-2 Quality Lighting Design for People in Outdoor Environments at the Churchill Open-Air space and then lead us on a nighttime walking tour in Downtown Phoenix. Group size will be limited for social distancing so register early. 

    Areas of focus on the tour will include the Civic Space Park net “Her Secret is Patience”, Westward Ho, The Stewart, Found:RE, and time permitting a couple other nearby locations. 

    Following the tour, we will return to The Churchill where the first round will be on the IES Phoenix Section. There is no charge to attend the dicussion and walking education tour.

    Additionaly, for those interested, during the tour, Mark will mention tips and hints for nighttime photography (cell phone cameras and DSLR cameras are both equally great for the tips).

    Mark is an Electrical Engineer and also an accomplished lighting designer. Mark has a passion for manipulating light to create moods and environments and then capturing the scenes through the art of architectural photography. Mark’s has been published in national magazines, manufacturer marketing materials, and for numerous winning lighting design awards for his own projects and for other designers. Mark has submitted IES award winning designs and photographs for lighting installations such as: Marina Heights, Mountain Shadows, The Grand at Papago Park, Randall McDanial Sports Complex, Phoenix School of Law and many others.
